The premium attic ladder suit loadings up to 440lbs/tread and are ideal for commercial use to access roof top areas for maintenance.

Most frequent questions our customers ask.
Yes! We can custom make roof hatches and egress doors to suit any size from small personnel and residential access to plant and equipment hatches! These can be as offered single or multipart lids.
We can offer powered opening hatches at any size. This can be operated by a key switch or push button and are ideal for large sizes or anywhere that wishes to make the process of climbing out of a hatch as simple and safe as possible. As standard, they are gas spring assisted opening which offers fingertip opening of the lid with a hold open stay to prevent from accidental closure.
As standard, our manual opening hatches come with an external handle that can be fitted with a padlock, internal padlock latch and a slam action cablock. Alternatively, they can be provided with a key locking deadlock.
We have a range of retractable loft ladders that can be specified with our roof hatches. The minimum size we recommend is 40″ x 40″ with the ladders suitable for a floor to ceiling height up to 11′-1″. For ladders over 11′, we can offer a custom made ladder with ceiling door suitable for up to 15′. This can also be electrically operated or fire rated as needed.
Our roof hatches can be offered with a Sureguard handrail with a self-closing gate. This is fixed to the curb of the hatch so no roof penetration is required. The guardrail can be powder coated to any color to improve visibility.
All of our hatches are sold with 3” insulation and fully thermally broken. They are manufactured to high standards. There is a standard curb liner to flash up the side of and a 12” curb.
